THE CINCINNATI MEN’S CHORUS has received a grant to help fund a new initiative that will provide FREE performance tickets to local LBGT focused students and youth groups in the Greater Cincinnati area. LBGT youths are at a particular risk for discrimination and isolation. These tickets will give them access to a welcoming not for profit organization that will perform a LBGT-oriented performance that will make these youth feel that they are part of something bigger. Through the universal language of music, Cincinnati Men’s Chorus 
will help these students connect to the larger LBGT community as a whole and reinforce the belief that they have a place in the world. The Chorus will partner to local LBGT-centric organizations such as PFLAG, GLSEN and Equality Ohio as well as schools that have a Gay-Straight Alliance.
