Robert Redford is quoted as saying about Mr. Belafonte that he is “A Man Whose Story Should be Told for Generations to Come”. MR. BELAFONTE will be here in Columbus on Mershon’s stage to speak and answer questions about this considerable contributions to the Civil Rights Movement in American and his activism worldwide on social justice issues.  He will be joined on stage by Michelle Alexander critically acclaimed author of her 2010 book  The New Jim Crow; Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness.
