Celebrate the power of film and a shared vision with the first annual Puffin Collaborative Film Festival, September 21 – 25.

 

Every screening will work to support the vision and efforts of a host of nonprofit organizations joined together in support of positive community growth and inspired civic action. Ohio Citizen Action Education Fund

Ohio Citizen Action Education Fund is the research and program affiliate of Ohio Citizen Action, the state’s largest environmental and consumer organization. The organization enjoys national recognition for its pioneering work on toxic right‐to‐know laws, developing “good neighbor” campaigns, and playing an important role in moving Ohio away from its reliance on dirty coal for electricity. Ohio Citizen Action Education Fund contributes critical components to Ohio Citizen Action’s success by providing original research, campaign reports, strategic planning, organizing and media support.

ReelAbilities Columbus Disabilities Film Festival (by VSA Ohio)

ReelAbilities is the largest festival in the country dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with different disabilities. Initiated at the JCC in Manhattan, in 2007, the festival presents award winning films by and about people with disabilities in multiple locations throughout each hosting city.
