A LGBTQ Youth led program in Ann Arbor, Michigan delivers a digital story telling project accompanied by youth led dialogues and discussion which intervenes on harassment and bullying situations to create a safe, inclusive school climate for all teens. Riot Youth was started in 2014 in answer to the constant repeat of stories of harassment and bullying from peers. A survey was developed and delivered to 1000 high school students in 8 schools. A result of the survey initiated the engagement of art through a story-telling project. These teens have worked to tell their stories on video so that they can share their experiences. The video has helped to encourage educators and local school boards to build safe and inclusive school environments where there are student led interventions when harassment occurs.http://NEUTRAL-ZONE.ORG
