STILL LIFE SINGS – HIROSHIMA COMMEMORATION

Hello Everyone (please come and bring someone):

Reminding all Central Ohio residents of the Concert this Sunday, August 6, 6:00 p.m. at the Columbus State Band Room in the TLC, at the corner of Mount Vernon Avenue and Cleveland Avenue.

See attached flier, free parking in employee lot to the north of the building.  Free admission. Thank you to Puffin West Foundation for its sponsorship.

This year’s many tragedies must be viewed in the historic nature of colonialism, racism, and class-ism.

We must annually come together to reflect on the broken world in that we live, so that we have the strength to build a movement of resistance and to hold onto the commitment to create a world of liberation, justice, and peace.

Come share with Central Ohio residents a night of music that strives to imagine life and beauty through the veil of an ugly and strained life we live.

WE must never forget the trauma experienced by so many lives, but WE must also never give up on the beauty we hold deep.

Still Life Sings!!

Peace, Mark D. Stansbery
