PFW provided a modest grant so that parents can pay what they can to send their children to SPRING ARTS CAMP at the King Arts Complex April 6-10th. These youth campers will not only learn how to save the planet but also how to take good care of themselves. They will make art out of recycled materials with local artist and art educator Duarte Brown; and shake it up and get their bodies moving with Ohio Black Dance founder, Lawrence Lemon; and they will enjoy gardening, working out, practice energizing yoga movements and learn about healthy food choices with Ed Morales; and they will exercise their vocal cords with jazz vocalist Debra James Tucker. Camp is over Columbus Public School’s spring recess from 8a.m-6pm.
