Storytellers matter, they can be agents of change. The TMI Project www.tmiproject.org during Black History Month held and open-house memoir writing workshop for the community change-makers, social architects, activists and all people of color who wanted to write a true short story to be featured on the TMI Project’s website for the #BlackStoriesMatter digital campaign. This campaign was free and no experience was needed. These stories were then read before an audience and it was hope that it awakened awareness and deepened compassion and activated a commitment to work for justice for all.
