PROJECT NAME: Reinfusing a Young Adult Focus for IACO
IACO Prayer Gathering, The original proposal did assume in-person involvement but with advice from Puffin Foundation, efforts were refocused for virtual involvement and specifically to the purchase of equipment to support virtual involvement.
The event completely satisfied IACO’s original intent of reinfusing young adults in the oversight or community outreach of the organization. We are however pleased with efforts to re-ignite this goal and will continue to pursue it in 2023. The unexpected challenge was, and continues to be, reluctance to stage in-person events; and the general public’s “tiring” of zoom
The impact of our efforts has presented a new (or renewed) interest in taping our events so that they be shared later, in the future. The focus as a result of this year’s efforts is to create an IACO library of materials and videos, organized to stimulate further interest in interfaith work.
