FROM OUR SPECIAL FRIENDS AT THE NORTH CAROLINA SYMPHONY
UNC-TV, our local PBS station, launched their new programming block, “Classroom Connection,” this morning at 8am. The programming focuses on math and literacy lessons that support at-home learning for Pre-K through third grade students. Throughout the program block, which airs February-May, they will include short video content provided by organizations that are part of North Carolina’s Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. They just confirmed that our Meet the Violin video with Soyun Kim aired this morning in the last segment before the end credits, between 9:30-10:00am. It was available on statewide PBS channels (4.1 in Raleigh) and presumably online as well. We’re also working with them on including the rest of the videos in the Meet the Instrument series, as well as some of our other educational programming.
