Welltone New Music, Inc., thanks to the Puffin Foundation West, was able to present Cutting
Edge Concerts 2023 with live performers at the Kosciuszko Foundation, Thalia Theater at Sym-
phony Space and the Salmagundi Club. We offered both live as well as virtual performances
through the videos of each concert made available on the Cutting Edge Concerts website. We
honor the Puffin Foundation West’s preference for virtual offerings due to the continued Covid
precautions.
Challenges: Performing in new venues
Because of two performances in venues other than Symphony Space, our regular venue, we had
to accommodate our concerts to various acoustic and visual challenges. One advantage to this
new arrangement was that it opened up the series to new audiences.
