The must see documentary filmmaker by Laura Poitras about Edward Snowden has Puffin roots. Laura Poitras was an artist- in-residence at the Wexner Center for the Arts here in Columbus, OH many years ago collaborating with Columbus native Lynda Goode Bryant in the WEX’s Film and Video Studio to create Flagwars, a documentary about the Near East Side and the tensions surrounding its gradual transformation from a primarily working class African American neighborhood to an increasingly gay and gentrified one.
