The Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF) promotes artistically and culturally significant film arts through education and exhibition to enrich the life of the community. A grant was awarded for their program, STANDING UP FILMS AND FilmForums: TACKLING SOCIAL AND CIVIL JUSTICE ISSUES. We all recognize that film has the power to transform viewers; the Cleveland International Film Festival is committed to using film as a catalyst for thought-provoking conversations and ideas that address issues faced by our world today. FilmForums are moderated and interactive panel discussions that feature filmmakers, community leaders and scholars who are knowledgeable about the topic at hand.
