HERE COME THE CHILDREN

The Columbus Children’s Parade hosted by the Central Community House www.cchouse.org will be stepping off from the Kwanza Playground again this year on September 9th, 2017. As the children take to the streets on route to the Olde Towne East Festival we hope to meld this annual into Children’s Peace Parade into a Dance Parade too! This is the best parade. Come and see or join this children who are marching and singing and drumming to GET THE LEAD out of their neighborhood. If you have an organization that works with young people, you are invited to join this annual event. Puffin West’s grant has secured the permit, the very great neighborhood police escort, lunch and crafts supplies and our grant is open to increase so that all participants get lunch and crafts supplies to make uplifting signs asking for peace and harmony.
