BEFORE THE BULLYING
This on stage interactive performance by GROWING SOUND promotes Acceptance, Friendship, Teamwork, Empathy, and Responsibility. Two originally scripted prosocial plays focus on universal prevention methods than reactive targeted intervention. Just as children are inoculated in their early years against illness, so too can the developmental skills be introduced to stave off behavior such as bullying. Growing Sound’s BEFORE THE BULLYING initiative supports teachers’ and parents’ efforts to give children the skills to later become good friends, students, spouses, parents and citizens.
