CHILDREN MARCH FOR PEACE IN OUR WORLD

PFW  has supported for  MANY YEARS Central Community House of Columbus Children’s Peace parade that  ends at the Hot Times Festival  in the near east side of Columbus Ohio.   Central Community House has gathered local youth to celebrate their lives and spread their messages to the community.  The major theme for the parade is PEACE IN OUR WORLD.  Central community House was created in 1936 as part of the historic Settlement House movement that brought social services to dwell in underserved neighborhoods to address the community’s  barriers and utilize its unique assets. over 100 children  will  gather at the Kwanza Playground on Bryden Road in Columbus Ohio to make masks, signs, hats, beribboned wands and banners. They walk through the neighborhood spreading joy, peace and positivity.  Lunch will be served. WWW.CCHOUSE.ORG
