ART AFTER STONEWALL 1969-89

 

THE COLUMBUS MUSEUM OF ART has originated the world’s first LGBTQ+ focused exhibition  following the Stonewall Riots 50 years ago.  The exhibition has been universally recognized as a groundbreaking view into a  unique era of LGBTQ+ history.  CMA  organized this show that features works a wide variety of conceptual, performance, film and video art, as well as photography, painting, sculpture and music   all  whose works mix politics with joyful expressions. This exhibit runs March 6-May 31, 2020)
