In conjunction with the project founded by Charles Bluestone, ART 360: Art Hatching Across Ohio, the Springfield Museum of Art is right now hosting this show of 48 contemporary Ohio artists who have transformed ostrich eggs by working in their particular artistic discipline; be it watercolor, acrylic, oil, encaustic (wax), and kaolin clay painting to intaglio, lithographic and monotype printing, from ceramics, fiber, and photography to scrimshaw, sculpture and glass in to unique pieces of art through March 18th. This exciting new exhibition is currently travelling to 5 art museums in Ohio and West Virginia. The PFW grant will provide FREE programs on Sunday afternoons for audiences of all ages to explore and make art in their Come Find Art series. www.arthatchingacrossohio.com
