As you may know Puffin Foundation West provides the GCAC with a grant each year to be used as sponsorship/matching funding in their Power2Give Program. We had written about this project previously and you are now invited to go to the Grange Audubon Center to see the work of the WINNER!
Sun, May 15 | 3–5 PM
Grange Insurance Audubon Center
505 West Whittier Street
Free (no tickets required)
Join us for the unveiling of Art & Environment graduate Dempsey Ewan’s professional art commission at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center. Ewan received the commission after completing the center’s annual eco art course for high school students and securing the most votes from contributors to a related power2give crowdfunding campaign (donors were eligible to vote on works featured in the Wex exhibition Interventions: Students Respond to the Environment).
Ewan’s commission will be on view to the public at the Audubon for two years while serving as a teaching tool for environmental educators. Come out to support this emerging artist and community partners dedicated to raising awareness about our natural world.
