BE THE SEA CHANGE

Glaciers are melting at record numbers much higher than the scientists ever predicted.  Many of earths terrestrial and marine species are on the brink*.  In California 40% of the state’s total emission are from automobiles which are driven 3/15 trillion miles a year. The  NFP Oceans in Focus’ www.ocenasiocus.org intention is to inform and engage the public with images  and messages  from the polar regions so that we rethink and reflect on our lifestyles.  Their project involved the rental of a digital billboard on one of the busiest freeways in Los Angeles of the polar region.  The billboard will project images as the average driver will spend 104 hours driving in congestion each year.  They hope that this captive audience will change their habits, driving less or switch to hybrid and/or electric cars.
