DANCE MATTERS!
Formed in 1976, OhioDance is devoted to serving dancers and the dance community throughout the state. We inclusively support the diverse and vibrant practice of dance of all cultures and for all capabilities. OhioDance offers festivals, conferences, educational resources, performance opportunities. OhioDance is committed to honoring, nurturing and advancing dance through the lens of justice, inclusion and equal opportunity in all aspects of its programming, services and organization. PFW’s grant will help support their program of continuing Mindful Dance sessions and working with the population at the Center for Balanced Living. This opportunity offers the opportunity to enjoy the healing benefits and the joy of dance and is offered without charge. OhioDance is also partnering with another Puffling, VSA Ohio, in presenting the film “Looking at the Stars“, which follows GEYZA, a Prima Ballerina who is blind during their ReelAbilities Film Festival.
