A PUFFIN WEST Grant to help continue to bring DEMOCRACY NOW! has been made to SIMPLY LIVING, which was the incubtor for WCRS-FM Community Radio Station heard on your local dial at 102.1 Democracy Now! is on-air at 5P and Midnight and is hosted by Amy Goodman, one of Americia’s leading, award-winning investigative broadcast journalists. Democracy Now! presents a diversity of voices often not heard on other U.S. media, including independent and international journalists, ordinary people affected by government, grassroots leaders, and independent analysts.
About Us
WCRS LP FM is Central Ohio’s ONLY community radio station broadcasting 3pm to 3am on 102.1 and 98.3 FM in most of Franklin County. WCRS is a service of The Neighborhood Network and a Pacifica Affiliate airing Democracy Now!, Free Speech Radio News and other syndicated public affairs programs in addition to locally made music, talk, and public affairs programs in English, French, Somali, and Spanish.

WCRS-LP FM is a non-commercial, listener-supported community radio station serving Central Ohioans, providing quality programming to:

•Air alternative points of view and facilitate understanding through dialogue;
•To provide media training and to foster community empowerment and participation.
