The Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus (CGMC) will be producing a thoughtful, compassionate concert looking at the causes and effects of bullying. “Finding Oz”. Ultimately it will be a story of the bravery it takes for bystanders to become positive participants and taking your path with friends and supporters to find your way to self-acceptance. CGMC will also be working with local youth groups and Gay/Straight Alliance students from local high schools to document their stories – struggles, successes and paths to self-acceptance – through social media, personal interviews and submitted reflections throughout 2016. These stories will be preserved and shared.
