Ohio law requires that all child victims of ABUSE AND NEGLECT be appointed a Guardian ad Litem – which is Latin for Guardian at Law. Court Appointed Special Advocates 
has received a grant to help launch a NEW FUND RAISER, ARTY PARTY Columbus. It is a juried art show and competition where children pre-K through College will submit artwork to be auctioned off with ALL THE PROCEEDS going to the benefit of abused and neglected children in CASA services. CASA has been working in Columbus since 1991 and are officially sworn-in officers of the court and they service the most at risk and severe cases of child abuse and neglect in our community. The artwork that you should go and bid on will include paintings and drawings and photographs. There is very little restriction on what type of artwork may be submitted.
