Benefit for the Kate Schulte Foundation

Hamiet Bluiett, Kidd Jordan and The Jazz Poetry Ensemble @ Natalie’s

Ten years after Katrina, come honor Kidd Jordan a jazz patriarch of New Orleans. He lost his music, his recordings, his instruments, all his possessions. Evacuated to Baton Rouge and now back in NOLA, Kidd represents resiliency and strength. And that’s what his music is about and that I why Puffin West supports the FREE event at Hot Times in Olde Town on September 13th!

The 2015 Hot Times Kate Schulte Tribute will kick off honoring Kidd with a benefit concert for the Kate Schulte Foundation at Natalie’s Coal Fired Pizza and Live Music on Wednesday, September 9 @ 9:00 pm. Come hear some great music and help us expand our programs.

A great opportunity to see Kidd, Bluiett, and the JPE at THE New York style venue in Columbus. This will be Bluiett’s first performance in a club venue in Columbus. Get your tickets early for an amazing musical experience. The concert will double as a CD release party for the recording of last year’s astounding show. CDs and commemorative t-shirts will be for sale.

Natalie’s is at 5601 N High St in Worthington, Ohio.

The Tribute will culminate at the Hot Times Festival on Sunday, Sept 13 @ 3:45. There will also be a performance at Dick’s Den on Thursday, Sept 10 @ 9 pm.
