PUFFIN WEST has lent its support to the third annual CRASH DETROIT 2016. Last year this festival was a resounding success with nearly 3,000 participants throughout the day while hosting nine different brass bands from around the country – with many making their first Detroit appearance. Crash Detroit is entirely a volunteer run community event. All the performers and musicians donate their time and talents. This year CRASH DETROIT will feature national street bands from cities such as Boston, Providence, Chicago and Bloomington, as well as local bands from the metro-Detroit area. This is a free festival that attracts a large array of individuals from seasoned musicians to brand new listeners. This year they have expanded their programming to include a new youth program KID CRASH, A YOUTH BRASS AND DRUM ENSEMBLE THAT WILL MAKE ITS DEBUT JULY 15-16. info@crashdetroit.org
