Hi Java!
Today was the last of the performers for the children at our school! It worked out wonderfully that today was the last performer, and an outstanding one at that, as tomorrow starts the OAA (statewide test) test for our students! The performer was a motivational magician who incorporated many magic tricks with little talks about being respectful and doing their best on the test! Stephen Knight has studied the ancient art of magic for over twenty years, performing publicly for the first time when he was in the third grade. Since then, Knight has performed in restaurants, schools, museums and theaters throughout the United States. His mastery of magical styles ranging from close-up miracles to grand theatrical illusions allows him to connect with an audience on a unique and individual level. Over the last few years, Stephen Knight has brought a special kind of magic to thousands of students, librarians, teachers and other educators throughout Ohio: Motivational Magic. With programs highlighting important topics such as Bullying, Drugs, and the Importance of Reading, Stephen Knight combines timely and important life messages with the visual and imaginative art of magic.
The kids loved all of the performances and were talking about this magician all day!
All of us at John Burroughs E.S. are very appreciative of your generosity to give us the opportunities to have these live performances at our school. School is a good, safe and fun place for them to be where they can learn and gain many types of experiences that they, more than likely, would never get anywhere else.
