PEACEMAKING: SPIRIT AND ACTION

The Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry in Roxbuy, MA is expanding its Spirit & Action Program to including Peacemaking to address peacemaking within families, peacemaking in neighborhoods and peacemaking across faiths. The are partnering with a group called Violence transformed, which is an organization that offers visual and performing arts and events celebrating the power of art, artist sand art-making to confront and mediate violence. Art offers a vehicle that is able to foster resilience and promote trauma-informed intervention and dialogue. Spirit and Action creates space for participants to learn about and engage in issues surrounding racism, violence and peace.
