Art Spaces will erect a public work of art in the Herz-Rose Park in the Ryves neighborhood of Terre Haute, Indiana that will ignite creativity and connection and foster an atmosphere of invention and possibility. The sculpture is entitled NEIGHBORS. 
It was inspired by the residents of Ryves where disinvestment and economic challenges have contributed to social isolation and disconnection from the city. The artist is Matthew Mazzotta who spent hours speaking with a diverse group of neighbors about their dreams, wishes and concerns. He has captured many of the voices of people who may not have been able to be heard. www.wabashvalleyartspaces.com
