Whether on a global, national, state or local level, today, the need for a safe home is greater than ever, Shelter is universally identified as a basic human right, yet refuge and protection are out of reach for million if not billions of people. Shelter: Crafting a Safe Home is a project being hosted by the Ohio Designer Craftsmen at the Ohio Craft Museum in Columbus OH that was created by the Contemporary Craft Museum located in the heart of Pittsburgh, PA. This traveling show features more than 30 works created by 14 contemporary artist from across the USSA and abroad.
