There is a new breed of reporting known as “solutions-based journalism” and SIMPLY LIVING will be bringing these stories of positive change at all levels of society to Columbus in a documentary film series. These films and panel discussion will focus on solutions to the problems of pollution, climate change, big pharma, our tainted and modified food supply, unemployment, income inequity, private banking and investment fraud, the undue influence of mega corporations on democracy and public polices. Communities are realizing the value of rebuilding local economies by shopping local, divesting from fossil fuels, making investments in renewable energy, improving local transportation alternatives, supporting independent media, promoting green building incentives and developments and many more exciting and viable initiatives.
