History has shown us that ARTISTS have been vital in providing visibility to citizens working for social justice, environmental safety, and for peace NOW and in the future. PUPPET FARM ARTS has been in the vanguard of art activism. A grant has been awarded to bring together a salon of teachers, community organizers and activists allow them to explore ways that they can utilize creative messaging and artistic practices to bring about real and meaningful social change. These salons, which will bring many people together, who have been involved in arts-in-activism and/or arts-in-education will “inspire clarity of thought and purpose, ferment inspired action; and create fruitful bonds between the participants, as they go forth about their work in the world”.
