Being able to discuss and write about these encounters are part of the exercises required and in doing so they will be exploring the diverse points of view that artwork provokes. This program is designed to:

-Understand why people value the arts
-Learn to reflect on and respect diverse points of view and
-Develop the ability to make connections between concepts.
These students will have the opportunity for in-depth discussions among students, speakers, and global studies educators and specialist. They also will be given study materials and there will be a dedicated WEB SITE for students to research, learn, share, and interact with all the other students from all the participating schools. This program is designed to give these students on-campus experiences and perhaps allow them see themselves in a year or two engaged as undergraduates in any number of International Baccalaureate programs including, English/the humanities, visual/media arts or science.
