During Easter Break what do you do if you are working or in school and have children that cannot be obviously left alone? The King Arts Center has created Spring Arts Camp, which also ensures food security. Puffin West gave a grant that allowed 4 needy youth a safe haven to be in and to be very happy too. This year KAC celebrated being “green”. The kids were exposed to yoga, healthy cooking, gardening, recycled art, vocal music and physical fitness. They certainly fit in quite a bit learning and recreation! The Staff and youth participants had a lot of fun while learning about conservation and self- sustainability.
