INSTALLATION PROJECTS BY EVA ANDRY
Eva Andry’s art installations provoke thought and discussion of environmental issues with regard to the current state of affairs in the Gulf region, specifically the oil blowout. Her position is that it is unacceptable and should not be discounted after its news cycle ends. For this catastrophe is just the beginning, necessitating the involvement of generations dedicated to clean up efforts, and should be taken seriously for the environmental disaster that it is.
Her Project Goals is that she believes that with public participation and greater exposure these installations will elicit the kind of support for environmental issues that will be needed if we are ever to learn from the current situation playing itself out in the Gulf right now.
