For twelve years MOMENTUM has been propelling Central Ohio students to grow into being better students and successful adults. Throughout the year all fourth grade boys and girls participate in 45-minute dance classes lead by a Senior MOMENTUM Instructor during their school day who has brought a piano accompanist to the school. These fast paced classes are demanding but JOYFUL. They require the children to learn choreography for their year-end public performance and in doing so they develop life-skills of self-discipline, teamwork, determination and striving for excellence. In May, all Central Ohio MOMENTUM students come together for a huge performance held on the stage of the Capitol Theatre. Momentum students have recently performed with The Harmony project, at the 50th MLK Breakfast and during Independents Day.
