The State tried again, and failed, to prevent us from having our day(s) in court to defend the Sunset Clause and protective buffers on the existing Wake Stone Triangle Quarry site. This is BIG win for us. After 6 years of the State and Wake Stone trying to keep us from revealing the facts, we finally proceed to trial, currently scheduled for the week of June 17. Discovery and trial prep is nearly complete. Our case is strong, the public is with us, the facts are with us. We can’t thank all you enough for supporting our efforts to protect Umstead State Park and the East Coast Greenway!
With that said, it is expensive to go to trial (legal fees and witnesses). We are thrilled to announce we met the previous match donors which is extremely helpful! We truly appreciate your generous donations, However, the reality is that we will need substantial donations to continue our fight. Please consider donating, or even offering up a donor match to encourage others. PFW is a larger donor to the park. Wild life, sentient 
creatures, photosynthesis a hundred year old trees, old grave stones of people who have lived there and now are gone. If you are reading this you too should contribute as that Umstead world is part of OUR WORLD.
