The North Shore Music Alliance being a favorite NFP of PFW – founded by Madam Angela Yoffe and her beloved Maestro Extraordinaire Vadim Gluzman were able to bring some of their famous friends was able to continue to provide through live broadcasts for our EDIFICATION and ENJOYMENT EXTRAORDINARY ARTISTRY that as always was the most wonderful music to our ears.
They too have continued in their most generous spirit to provide “intensives” to the Magical Strings of Youth, at the Betty Haag Academy of Music (bettyhagg.com) 
being a group of string players of ALL AGES who bill themselves as Ambassadors of Hope. These players who perform for FREE in local community centers and libraries were able, even under the duress of the pandemic, to perform their annual Holiday performance twice from Orchestra Hall, the home of the Chicago Symphony which was streamed.
The live North Shore Chamber Music Festival (NSCMF) Summer 2020 was cancelled owing to the unrest and pandemic (www.nscmf.org). situation in Chicago. However, the friends of Vadim and Angela
were able to broadcast live on September 10th a program entitled the Jewish Kaleidoscope – The evolving musical world of Jewish and Israeli music which was a premier concert by the NSCMF featuring the following world class players: Mark Kosower on cello, Ilya Shterenberg on clarinet, William Wolfram on piano, Angela Yoffe on piano and Vadim Gluzman on violin.
