Bea wrote: “2004 Puffin Foundation West , Ltd. ” Celebration Of Life ” A 12 ft, Bronze Statue created by Alfred Tibor Holocaust Survior in honor of Sarah Starling , Sullivant and Arthur Boke ( 1803 1841 ) a black baby boy abandoned by his slave mother owned by the Sullivant family , Sarah Sullivant nursed Boke along with her own son William Sullivant the first White baby born in Franklinton 1803 . Bea Murphy was asked to research the Franklinton area and locate the first African American that was born in the oldest and first Community. Bea Found Boke in the Lucas Sullivant ( Founder of Franklinton ) Burial plot in Green Lawn Cemetery, Thanks to Ms .
