CREATIVE COMMUNITIES CONTINUE TO CONNECT

PFW met LAKE ERIE INK  (www.lakeerieink.org) and gave them an award in 2020.  This grant is in response to the increased need for community building  and creative expression during social isolation related to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Creative Communities Connect is a writing program that encourages community members to respond to a common prompt through writing or art.  LAKE ERIE ART is continuing this project in response to the social isolation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.  It has safely been able to meet its mission and to engage youth in cr4ative expression,  Recognizing that this project had the potential to reach a broader audience, LEI decided to organize outreach to colder community members because they are some  part of our population at risk of social isolation as a result of the pandemic.
