SIMPLY LIVING’s Film Series continues show casing independent documentary films that address a variety of current issue.  

Don’t Miss –  HARVEST OF EMPIRE. THE UNTOLD STORY OF LATINOS IN AMERICA on May 25 at Studio 35 @ 2pm which is  based upon the groundbreaking book by award winning journalist and DEMOCRACY NOW! co-host Juan Gonzalez.*   Each event is followed by Q&A with experts representing local organizations wring to provide solutions to issues raised in the films.    These films and panel discussion will focus on solutions to the problems of pollution, migration and  our economy.    Communities are realizing the value of rebuilding local economies by shopping local, divesting from fossil fuels, making investments in renewable energy, improving local transportation alternatives, supporting independent media, promoting green building incentives and developments and many more exciting and viable initiatives.    We additionally applaud SIMPLY LIVING for reaching out and partnering with other local groups which will strengthen the resolve and lift the voices of all advocates working on these most pressing issues of our times.
