FIDELIO will see you this summer

I am writing to let you know that QUEEN CITY  OPERA’S production of Beethoven’s Fidelio is being postponed.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the originally announced dates of May 29 and May 31 are no longer possible. We are hopeful we will be able to share this work later in the summer. We take the safety of our audience members and artists very seriously, as well as our responsibility to the public health of our community. We are exploring possible dates for rescheduling and we will keep you posted as soon as there is new information.
We are looking forward to the time when we can safely share live music again. Stay home, stay safe, and watch operas on our YouTube channel, which has many complete operas with English subtitles.

Here are some of my favorites:
Tchaikovsky: Iolanta
Rossini: La cenerentola
Mozart: Don Giovanni
Weber: Der Freischütz

Take care, keep in touch!Isaac Selya,
Queen City Opera Artistic Director
