LGBTQ on Screen

15 years ago in the City of Lynchburg Virginia an 1890s building as offered to artists working in the humanities and a 40 seat theatre was created with two gallery exhibition spaces called Riverviews Artspaces. RVAS-logo-for-webpage2-1 It houses the Lynchburg Diversity Center which received it 503(c)(3) this year and will be the first spot dedicated in the city and surrounding counties dedicated to the concerns, interests and support of the LGBTQ communities. They are planning a -long film program of important films that speak of multiple issues facing the LBGTQ community and their allies.   It is the purpose of this film series to offer a civil, open environment. where issues raised in the films presented can be discussed. This is the first series of its kind to be offered in Lynchburg Virginia. http://www.riverviews.net
