LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR

NFP 36 2482277

Our family of Little Sisters, Residents, and staff lift up heartfelt and grateful prayers for you and
our many caring benefactors like you, who offer us their treasure, talent, and time, which truly make a difference.
We thank Puffin Foundation West and you for the kind grant given in honor of Marian Calamia. This is such a gracious and loving gesture. Your generosity makes possible St. Mary’s Home, a welcoming, comfortable, secure, and attractive place for the most vulnerable among us, the elderly poor, our seniors in greatest need.
During this season of earnest, sustained reflection, the Church challenges us to realize that this time is much more
than just foregoing sweets for 40 days. Rather, it is a special time to grow in holiness through the three pillars of Lent: fasting (giving up), almsgiving (giving to others), and prayer (giving thanks, praise, and our undivided attention to God). Together, these pillars, these active endeavors, can and will lead us to a closer relationship with our Lord.
We thank Him for the almsgiving and concern shown by you for the well-being and comfort of those seniors entrusted to our care, the eldest children of our Heavenly Father. We are truly humbled by your generosity and encouraged by your thoughts and prayers. The Little Sisters could not do what we do without such considerate and devoted benefactors as you.
this holy time of reflection, renewal, and
promise -our community of St. Mary’s Home prays for you, your family and loved ones, and we ask our Gracious God to bless you as we all journey forward
Gratefully,
Sr. Margaret, Isp Superior
