“MATA” Matters (Music, Arts, Theatre Academy)

Wilmington College’s Music, Arts, and Theatre Academy (MATA)  Directed by Dr. Catherine Roma provides choral music programs for the inmates at Dayton Correctional Institution, London Correctional, and Marion Correctional.   This program  focuses on building bridges between inmates and the world beyond the prison walls.  MATA’s mission is to build and sustain creative arts offerings in prison, to educate, inspire, motivate, heal and transform lives, and to collaborate across fences.
