MOVING FORWARD – A 20-Year Celebration of Columbus Dance Theatre’s Works

COLUMBUS DANCE THEATRE (CDT) will  celebrate the twenty-years of choreographic works of its Founder and Artistic Director, Tim Veach with a program entitled Moving Forward.  PUFFIN FOUNDATION WEST and The Puffin Foundation (in years past)   have applauded – with so many SRO audiences – his unique contemporary ballets which deal with humanity and the relationships that people share.  Check out the revolving repertoire at www.coldancetheatre  for the three performances April 13-14th.  Parts of Mr. Veach’s powerful work COURAGE which received a PFW grant last year will be danced.  It is about Profiling and the strong emotions that the dances convey with their movements will leave you with an indelible memory.  Live Music provide by Carpe Diem String Quartet will be a centerpiece of the weekend and they will play at all three performances. Moving Forward is also part of Locality which is a gathering of a diverse array of the dance community celebrating the bicentennial of Columbus.
