NORTH SHORE CHAMBER MUSIC PLAYED ON

OUR FRIENDS, ANGELA YOFFE AND VADIM GLUZMEN  kept their educational projects “alive” during this summer of Wuhan and unrest in Chicago as their annual  AND AWAITED  North Shore Chamber Music Festival was cancelled owing to the pandemic.

They  did a four week program “SUMMER INTENSIVE” at the Betty Haag Academy of Music  (bettyhagg.com)  with  the Magical Strings of Youth performing group.  This group of string players of all  ages  are billed as  Ambassadors of Hope.  They have performed    widely on TV, for world leaders and even the pope. PFW’s grant has helped for many years to provide very low cost training to  the students of this school which is dedicated to training youth beginning in pre-school.  These students have always performed locally at  local community libraries, and community centers for FREE. The students will present two streaming concerts over the Holidays on December 19th and 20th  which will be streamed as their annual event annual event a Orchestra Hall,  home of the Chicago symphony will not  be possible owing to the pandemic.   Students at Betty Haag  had four weeks program “Summer Intense”

Vadim and Angela have sent their thanks Thank you so much for PFW’s amazing help all those years, it means a lot for both of us! Without your support we would not be able to launch Creative Learning programs at  NORTH SHORE CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL (NSCMF).
