PFW Welcomes Classical Theatre of Harlem

 Summers in Marcus Garvey Park  in Harlem  light up  when The Classical Theatre of Harlem brings their month-long suite of activities  surrounding their annual family theatrical presentation which will this summer be SHAKESPEARE’S THE TEMPEST.  A diverse audience of 10,000  come to take part in this neighborhood party that is created in partnership with local business and other arts organizations.   THE PFW grant will help to support the educational component: Harlem Teen Shakespeare Intensive  which free to youths 12-18 years old.  This two week  program dive into fun, fierce and fearless exploration of Shakespeare;s work, language, and relevance with the guidance of teaching artists and other professionals.  info@cthnyc.org  www.cthnyc.org
