The World House Choir’s Mission is:
To perform music that motivates and inspires our communities toward justice, diversity, and equality as we strive for peace and create our web of mutuality.” The World House Choir continues to bring messages of multi-culturalism, equality, peace and justice to our communities and into the prison environment. This year the choir sings and celebrates Martin Luther King, Coretta King and the United Nation’s International Day of Peace. The choir will also perform three prison concerts. The choir members are thanked for their performance when the prison choir sings a thank you performance to them. The concerts are held at the men’s prisons in both Marion and London Ohio Correctional facilities. The Choir draws its repertoire from different traditions, including world music, spirituals, gospels, folk music and song about peace and justice. www.worldhousechoir.org
