This is what it is about

Under the leadership and with the inspiration of  Dr. Jesse Glover The Ohio Prison Arts Connection (OPAC) aims to build art access for people in prison and  those who have re-entered their communities.  In 2021 OPAC will build access by creating three opportunities for currently an formally incarcerated artists to create new work, showcase their work to the public, and get professional feedback from professional artists.   There is  currently an exhibit at the Columbus Main Library Gallery that will be juried; there will be a poster project and six artists from around the state of Ohio will collaborate on a poster series that can widely be shared within prisons and; a Chapbook is being created of artwork and artist statements by currently incarcerated artists. www.ohioprisonartsconnection.org
