Puffin West is very excited to introduce you to our new friends at the Clifton Center in Louisville, KY! Each year this Center hosts the Heritage Project that brings public performances that comport with our shared philosophy that the arts are a powerful tool for uniting people and creating strong and vibrant a community. The Heritage Project brings high quality artist from such regions as West Africa, Ireland, Latin America, Asia, the Middle East, Puerto Rico and Appalachia to town so that their audiences can appreciate not only their own cultural traditions but also those of others in their community; this helps to develop an understanding of the cultural traditions of others. We agree that this serves as a powerful tool in eliminating destructive barriers that separate people.
